Meet Dr. John G. Kostides

Dr. John was born and raised in Northwest Indiana where he was a 1982 graduate of Merrillville High School. He graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 1986 and in 1990 graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Dr. John G. Kostides served on the Indiana State Board of Dentistry from 2001 until 2007 and is a current member of the Indiana Dental Association, the Northwest Indiana Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He continues to attend various higher education courses to ensure his patients receive top-quality care.  

Outside of the office, Dr. John G. Kostides enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years (and counting) and their three daughters. He also loves to cook delicious food for his friends and family and will never pass up an invitation to go fishing with his buddies!​

Meet Dr. Thomas J. Seretis, DDS

General Dentist | Merrillville, IN

With over 34 years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Thomas J. Seretis is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist serving the Merrillville, Indiana community. A proud alumnus of the University of Illinois, Dr. Seretis earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1986, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1990.

Dr. Seretis is licensed to practice in both Illinois and Indiana, with advanced training in orthodontic clear aligners and endodontic procedures (i.e., root canals). His personal philosophy of "treating the patient first and the mouth second" underscores his commitment to prioritizing patient care and building trust with every individual he serves.

In addition to his professional expertise, Dr. Seretis actively contributes to his community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Tammont Girls Basketball program. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys sports, traveling, playing poker, and spending quality time with family and friends.
